VP and General Manager
David Johns serves as Soterra’s VP and General Manager. David joined Soterra in 2016. Prior to joining Soterra, David owned his own consulting firm. David is a Registered Forester and a licensed Real Estate Broker. David is a graduate of the University of Florida’s School of Forest Resources and Conservation. When he’s not at work he enjoys spending time with his family.
Director Business Development and Operations
Andy Callahan joined Soterra in 2012 and serves as Director Business Development and Operations. Andy oversees all field operations as well as the 3 field offices in AL, MS, and LA. Prior to joining Soterra, Andy worked as Division Manager for Wright Tree Service and is a Certified Arborist and Drone Pilot. Andy is a graduate of Purdue University’s Forestry and Natural Resources School with a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry. While not at work, Andy enjoys spending time on the water with family and friends.
Manager Land Resource Group
Joshua Smith serves as Soterra’s Manager Land Resource Group. Josh joined Soterra in 2015. Prior to joining Soterra, Josh worked as a GIS Analyst for Georgia Pacific. Josh is a graduate of American Sentinel University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Geographic Information Systems. Josh also holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Applied Science in GIS from Delta State University.
Bill White
Manager of Property Administration
Bill White serves as Soterra’s Land Administration Manager. Bill joined Soterra in 2014. Prior to joining Soterra, Bill worked as Program Specialist for the Mississippi Development Authority. Bill is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Statistics and Data Processing. Bill also holds a Master of Business Administration from Millsaps College. Bill has a large family and enjoys spending time with them when not at work.
